From 2021 to 2026, I helped shape Zora from an experimental marketplace into a social platform for creating, sharing, and discovering work online.

My role moved between product thinking, design, and engineering—building expressive tools for creators, new ways to publish and connect, and experiences across web and mobile.

The projects below highlight the products I led or helped bring from early ideas to launch.

Creator tools & Expression

  • Customizable Mint Pages

    Creator-controlled mint pages that translated the expressiveness of Myspace and Tumblr into an onchain publishing surface.

    • Let creators adjust colors, typography, scale, and styling around their work.
    • Applied lessons from bespoke auction and mint pages to a generalized product feature.
    • Created a flexible expression layer without requiring one-off engineering for every release.

  • AI Creator Tooling

    AI-powered creator functionality integrated into the production create flow on both web and mobile.

    • Shipped a series of Lora’s leveraging fal.ai’s api offerings to allow users to participate in memetic image generation.
    • Extended the creator workflow with a generative-AI capability inside Zora’s consumer product.
    • Shipped the feature across web and the React Native mobile app.

  • Canvas & Splits

    Led design and frontend for an in-app image composition tool that let creators remix NFT imagery while preserving attribution and royalty splits.

    • Designed and implemented the canvas experience.
    • Collaborated on schema design with frontend platform.
    • Introduced NFT-based stickers drawn from a curated set of works.
    • Built attribution UI and percentage-based payouts to sticker creators.

0→1 Consumer Products

  • Zora Profiles

    Unified creator profiles showing created and collected tokens across chains.

    • Built the product from zero: new routes, owned-token grids, creator contract listings, navigation, customization, and mobile reflow.
    • Initially integrated ENS because Zora did not yet have a proprietary account model.
    • Supported onchain profile data and wallet-native identity updates.
    • Added onchain theming ala myspace. Themes later surfaced in other applications, including Rainbow wallet.

  • WOW!!!

    A standalone memecoin trading application taken from zero to a launch-ready consumer product.

    • Shipped 72 issues spanning the token page, home feed, cards, trade forms, top holders, bottom sheets, and mobile navigation.
    • Implemented WOW mode, dark styling, and detailed hover, tap, and flash feedback across the experience.
    • Added launch safeguards including NSFW filtering, risk warnings, mechanics education, policy pages, support routing, and graduation gating.
    • Handled share cards, chain redirects, pagination, number formatting, error states, and repeated design-fidelity passes.

  • Creator Coin Profile Implementation

    UI implementation of the activation experience for launching and sharing creator coins: A protocol feature which presented a unique fork in the profile account model where profiles which had activated their creator coins would have additional functionality and views / information and feature unlocks.

    • Shipped 51 issues across activation success states, creation gating, and share sheets on web and mobile.
    • Built shareable image assets, coin-specific profile Open Graph cards, fallback images, long-username handling, and preloading.
    • Built coin activation UI and handled complex account states with reactive UI elements. Implemented activated states, market-cap and holders modules, detail popovers, holder lists, and grid empty states.
    • Closed the launch-quality long tail across notifications, onboarding, sharing, and data correctness.

Live & Multi-format Media

  • Livestreaming

    A full-service livestreaming product integrated into Zora’s social, creator-coin, and moderation systems.

    • Shipped 100+ issues and built the responsive web livestream page, Cloudflare based player, WebRTC compatible flag, controls, and video states.
    • Implemented real-time chat with optimistic updates and subscriptions, plus delete, block, report, comment-removal, and disable-commenting flows.
    • Extended creation, waitlist, feature-flag, and OBS stream-key setup paths.
    • Added discovery across feeds, search, profiles, and explore, including live indicators and web/mobile feed surfaces.
    • Integrated creator-coin trading, live market-cap updates, and trade filtering alongside stream conversation.

  • Carousels

    Multi-asset posts containing multiple images or videos.

    • Added multi-select and editing to the creation flow.
    • Implemented carousel rendering across post cards and coin pages.
    • Added profile indicators so multi-asset posts were recognizable before opening.
    • Owned the initial web implementation & technical design process.

  • Embed

    A publicly released standalone tool served from embed.zora.co that turned Zora NFT URLs into configurable iframe embeds for websites and personal applications. Generated a live preview and copy-ready iframe snippet from a Zora NFT URL. Supported images, video with playback options, and audio through a dedicated player, while surfacing creator metadata.

    Translated high-level product designs into a compact, host-neutral embed that worked across third-party layouts and varied media formats. Added familiar controls for title visibility, playback controls, autoplay, and looping. Shipped publicly at embed.zora.co and received positive feedback from early adopters.
